Former Local Boy Receives Full Athletic Scholarship for Football

Brandon Fowler Formerly Of Austin

Brandon Fowler formerly of Austin, is the grandson of Fred Fowler & great grandson of Doris Fowler both of Austin.

Brandon is the son of Mary Jo Fowler, also a native of Austin now residing in Charlotte NC. Further he is the Grandson of Kaye Gleason-Breitenstein formerly of Coudersport, Living in Reading PA,

Brandon was recruited by several Divison I and II Colleges, however, he Signed with Concord University, West Virginia today. He was granted a full scholarship with the football program as a Defensive Lineman.

Brandon played high school football with the Mallard Creek Mavericks, Charlotte NC who were ranked #2 in NC State Football in 2012, and ranked 5th in 2013. He was a three year Varsity Starter, Team Captain and earned all-conference honors in 2012.

Concord is a NCAA Div II School with a 21-12 standing since 2009.
